The client initially requested only a filter setup, but upon review it became clear that the website had multiple issues: products were incorrectly created as variable items, important details were misconfigured, and the mobile views were broken, leaving only a few elements functional. What started as a small task grew into a complete eShop build. I restructured the site by properly inserting products, setting up filters, layouts, and searches, adding custom code, and optimizing images and content. The project was completed successfully, and the fully functional online store is now live.
I used custom code to completely redesign the Boutique page according to the customer’s requirements, making it look and function entirely differently from the standard WooCommerce archives. The JetFilters setup was also broken—queries were misconfigured, causing filtered items to appear three times (once for each language). To resolve this, I rebuilt the JetBuilder templates and JetQueries from scratch, applying custom code and optimized queries to ensure filters and layouts worked seamlessly across all languages.
The Boutique page was transformed into a fully customized layout that matched the customer’s vision, independent of the standard WooCommerce archives. Filters now work flawlessly, displaying products correctly without duplication across languages. With optimized JetBuilder templates, queries, and custom code, the site delivers a smooth, user-friendly shopping experience across all devices and languages.
